The weather abated a little, but not enough to risk a trip up the coast. Tim finally "bit the bullet" and decided to take the more sheltered route on the inside of Resolution Island instead of his preferred track around the outside. The paddling still wasn't easy, but he was able to put 33km of beautiful scenery behind him at the end of the day. Accomodation for the night is on a permanently moored ship in Breaksea Sound.

By our rough calculations, Tim has reached the HALF WAY point of his trip. He has paddled a total of 2,672 km of an estimated 5,300 km, reaching the furthest Eastern, Southern and Western points along the way.....Congratulations mate!
