Well...the weather is good today, apart from a bit of drizzling rain, so Tim set off just after 6am for the 54km trip to Porpoise Bay. Lots of rugged coastline along the way with albatrosses & penguins for company, & sadly no dolphins.

Unfortunately Tim's new "submersible" VHF radio ceased functioning this afternoon. This is a vital piece of equipment, but luckily there's a replacement back at home, so he's staying put until it arrives in a few days. The forecasted stormy weather for the next 2-3 days will keep him out of the water anyway.
